A Civil Engineer in charge of planning, designing and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities, such as roads, railway lines, airports, bridges, harbors, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and the sewerage system.

Job description

  • Perform technical studies and the feasibility and inspection locations
  • To assess the potential risk
  • Perform risk management
  • Supervising tendering procedures and collect proposals
  • Managing, supervising and visiting contractors on site and give advice on the Problems of civil engineering
  • Communicate and work effectively with architects, subcontractors, contracting civil engineers, consultants, co-workers and clients
  • Manage the budget and other resources
  • Check and approve the report
  • Review and approve project drawings
  • Make a schedule of material purchase and delivery
  • Make sure that the project runs smoothly and that the structure is completed on time and on budget


  • Has expertise in mathematical and engineering
  • Have the ability to think methodically in terms of design, planning, and project management
  • Can use design software
  • Adept at negotiating, supervising, and able to lead and delegate
